Commodities Back Office Application (Octagon)

The Commodities Back Office application called Octagon has been in existence since August 2003.

 

Application Brief of Octagon  

  • Windows (GUI) based
  • Supports Back Office Functionality of Three (3) Commodity Exchange’s Functionality i.e. NMCEIL, NCDEX & MCX as of date
  • Semi-customizable as per the customer’s requirements (Core module would be non-customizable & areas like Reports, Queries etc. can be in accordance with Customer needs)

Based on the Business functionality, Octagon is currently available in two versions

  • Octagon CM – For all forms of Clearing members
  • Octagon TM – For all types of Trading Member
